Training and Placement

JPSB has made many strides in the area of training and placement of its students. The students of College of Management and Computer Applications/ College of Engineering/ Polytechnic/College of Hotel Management/ Department of Social Work are increasingly been accepted in the corporate sector. The placement process in general consists of following steps

Corporate Resource Centre – JPSB endeavors to equip students with all managerial skills required in the industry, companies of government and private sector. The institute has its own fully developed and operational Corporate Resource Centre – JPSB (Placement cell) headed by highly experienced industry professionals to help students seeking their careers in desired fields. The Corporate Resource Centre – JPSB acts as an interface between the institute and corporate world. The Centre is responsible for continuous Industry Academia Interaction, Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures, Soft Skills Training & Grooming, Seminars and workshops for strengthening corporate relations and ultimately help students to find good placements.

Corporate Resource Centre – JPSB organizes soft skills, personality development, career guidance and counseling sessions for the students to enable them to face competition as professionals. The centre conducts group discussions, mock interviews and aptitude tests from time to time to prepare the students for campus placements.

Corporate Resource Centre – JPSB has organized corporate meets to asses industry requirements and gives the students an insight into workings of corporate world. Such meets were organized at industry zones as Rudrapur, Gajraula, Haridwar, Selaqui, Dehradun, Noida to seek training & employment opportunities at respective companies operating there.

Corporate Resource Centre – JPSB witnesses its unique strengths to support industry partners and prospective employers to visit the institute and meet their expected professionals by conducting rigorous selection processes involving end to end steps for recruitment.

It is the result of unrelenting, sustained effort with clear cut focus on all areas that contribute towards making our management graduates ready to take on leadership responsibilities in their new roles:

Corporate Resource Centre – JPSB constantly groom budding managers and are regularly involved in executive education – exposing students to the right mix of theory and real world issues.

For Placement Pre Selection, every JPSB student is hand-picked. He/She go through a series of interviews and discussions before they make it through the gates of our institute. Their backgrounds are varied. A large percentage of our students come with work experience in areas such as Human Resource, Marketing. Banking, FMCG, Manufacturing, Telecom, Advertising, etc. Yet they have one goal in mind – to succeed as professionals and individuals.

JP Group of Institutions fulfills the obligation of being a professional Group of Institutions only if its students seem to be so. With this vision in mind, Management of JP Group established a devoted and a dynamic department for developmental needs and placement of students. The highly dedicated Training and Placement Cell of JP Group never dithers from taking initiatives. Steered by Er. Randhir Kumar (Group Head - T& P) , a veteran in Academic Placements and an industry pro, this department boasts of corporate style trainings and highest number of placements in the city in the current year.

Talking about Soft skills and Personality Development Trainings, connoisseurs with global exposure and having profound understanding of corporate culture share their knowledge with students in an interactive environment. Professional Communication Trainings start from the very first year. Students after firming their feet on the pedestal of basic communication, climb the next step of Corporate Etiquette, group discussion and interview techniques, with an exposure of the job market and techniques of sustaining in the corporate battleground. All this happens, parallel to the technical education being provided in their theory classes. By the time, he/she is in the final year, the entire focus shifts to placements and giving a finishing touch to an already groomed and robust candidate.

Industry people knowing about such a quality instilled students, willingly become receptive and open their arms for JPIETians. Appreciations pour with every company visit in the campus. Students of other colleges are also welcomed during pool campuses and JP Rogar Utsav. Talking about placements, we understand that not all students can be placed in fortune companies and hence, a wide variety of both national and multinational companies are approached with a sole purpose of getting all students placed.

The story doesn't end here, toppings are added to the already flavored candidates by making them interact and visit industries of their field. This helps them understand the current trend of the market and motivates him/her to gear up accordingly.
